The FINMA license – a new era for Baltrag

At the beginning of the year 2023, Baltrag AG was thrilled to receive its approval as a licensed Swiss asset manager from FINMA (Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority).

This esteemed license was by far not granted to every asset manager. Only asset managers in compliance with the high expectations and quality standard of the Swiss legislator and FINMA passed the burdensome authorisation process.
Switzerland has considerably increased the attractiveness of its financial centre by the introduction of the licensing requirement for asset managers. The license stands for an improved client protection.

The granting of the Finma license validates Baltrag’s unwavering commitment to regulatory excellence to safeguard the managed client assets. Baltrag is delighted to have embarked on this new chapter with its clients, backed by the esteemed FINMA accreditation—a symbol of its dedication to the financial success of its clients.
